hi,
i running a nagios server with 200 nodes to monitor.
how can i use the existing nagios scripts?
example:
[nagios]# ./check_mailq.pl 213.61.74.50
/var/spool/mqueue (10 requests)
what can i do to feed cacti with the nagios results?

Combining those tools give you a very powerfull solution. I think the adding/removing of device needs to be automatized and keep synchronized between Nagios and Cacti. I work on a script which would take a .csv file and generate the config for Nagios / Cacti.
I have more difficulties with Cacti, as it is not easy to do it from the command line. I can add devices but not data sources, graph & templates yet.
