problem for ./configure with cactid-0.8.6e

have a problem whe i try to configure cactid on a mandrake 10 :

checking for strerror... yes
checking for strtoll... yes
checking for mysql_init in -lmysqlclient... no
configure: error: MySQL libraries not found.


i have the rpm installed on server :

php-mysql-4.3.4-1mdk
MySQL-bench-4.0.25-0
libmysql12-4.0.18-1mdk
perl-Mysql-1.22_19-9mdk
MySQL-devel-4.0.25-0
MySQL-client-4.0.25-0
MySQL-embedded-4.0.25-0
MySQL-server-4.0.25-0

i had try to make configure with :
"./configure --with-mysql="
and all mysld directory i have on server

but dont work too.
