Traffic graphs seem to be 10x values they should show

Alright, this should probably be quite simple, but it's got me flabberghasted. I've searched through various resources and can't find the information on how to fix this, so any pointer would help.

I'm monitoring a server which has a GigE card in it, and it seems that the graphs will show me my traffic in M/s instead of K/s. It seems to cause strange things to happen as well, and the graph area looks like many bars shooting right up. The value that it graphs is correct if you ignore the fact that I'm not moving it in Megabytes per second but Kilobytes per second.

Any assistance as to where I should be looking would be apreceated!

Can it be that your graph items use CDEF function "Turn bytes into bits"? As an effect you would see values 8x higher on the graph.
