Graphs are not being created

Post by diesel »

I just finished installing Cacti. But I cannot see any graphs. The RRA Folder is not creating any new files.

Windows 2000 Server
CACTI 0.8.6d
RRDTool
MySQL 4.1
NetSNMP 5.2.1-1
PHP 5.0.4

Also when I run php poller.php I get the following:

C:\cacti> php poller.php
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
...

and it doesnt stop.

Thx for the help.

Turn the polling level in cacti to debug for one cycle and paste the output. If it contains WEBLOG entries, then don't bother posting since they just clutter up the log. Turn off WEBEVENTS logging and try again.

1) Run php-win.exe. PHP should be in your system path, so you shouldn't need to specify the full path when running it for cacti.

2) Was there nothing in <cacti root>\logs\cacti.log ?

flipflap: You likely do not have the same problem. Please start your own thread. Turn the polling level in cacti to debug for one cycle and paste the output of the log file. If it contains WEBLOG entries, then don't bother posting since they just clutter up the log. Turn off WEBEVENTS logging and try again.

Please post your installation directory name and also the details from the started task so that I can understand how to fix your issue.

Sorry, missed this:
06/14/2005 04:58:54 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: The PHP Script: CMD.PHP Must be started using the full path to the file and in lower case. This is a PHP Bug!!!
Your started task should be something like the following:

c:\php\php-win.exe c:\wwwroot\cacti\poller.php

Start in Location

c:\wwwroot\cacti

Make sure you don't have your web server in a location with a directory with spaces in it.
