Need some INSTALL-Support

Hi,

i need CACTI to run it in a local Network here where i am working - but i did not have any skills on this program or with the FreeBSD-System, that is runnig here. Please help me to install CACTI.

You should follow the unix install guide starting here:

First off all use the "pkg_info" command to see what you have installed.

If you need to install other items then you'll need to use the FreeBSD ports tree. This might needing installing... so you should read the following chapter:
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO885 ... ports.html

Once you have installed all the packages/ports you can continue to follow the installation process in the Cacti docs.

NB the Cacti documentation lists the ports you need but this might be misleading. I installed or FreeBSD 4.11 and installed the following ports (which should install requirements too):
/usr/ports/www/apache20
/usr/ports/net/rrdtool
/usr/ports/net-mgmt/net-snmp
/usr/ports/databases/mysql41-client
/usr/ports/databases/mysql41-server
/usr/ports/lang/php4
