Copying / Exporting Hosts

Post by hypatia »

This might actually be a feature request.
We do a fair bit of various kinds of clustering. Many hosts have identical sets of 20+ graphs, that I have to recreate for each one. It would be nice to be able to copy a host, and then just go in and change its name/IP/....

The ability to export hosts would be nice too. I might want to copy hosts to a new Cacti server someday.

Short of being able to export/copy hosts, does anyone know a trick to copy hosts in Cacti?

No, there isn't a copy function.

This would be a very complex feature, and to be honest, low on priority. :(

I do like the idea. :)
