"Clear Cacti Log File" error

I got erros when i clicked on "Clear Cacti Log File"

Warning: unlink() failed (Permission denied) in /var/www/html/cacti/utilities.php on line 168

Warning: utime failed: Permission denied in /var/www/html/cacti/utilities.php on line 16

Plz someone suggest me for solution. :oops:

Yah, don't use it.. :)

Clear the log from the command line. Otherwise, you have to give the web user permissions to the directory and you may have to set the sticky bit on the directory so your poller can write to it as well.

Not the correct answer of course. You web user needs rw to the directory and the file in case it's already created. Then, if you continue to have problems it will be due to stuck processes. Of course the latter would lead me to additional questions.
