Problem with adding win2000/XP host (with host template)

Post by prenat »

Hi !

I have a problem at the time of the addition of a new host with the template "win2000/Xp". I give to cacti the communauty and the IP adress of my new host and when I validate the creation, I have this error message:

Code: Select all

Notice: Undefined index: oid_index in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\lib\data_query.php on line 149

Notice: Undefined index: oid_index in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\lib\data_query.php on line 152

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\lib\data_query.php:149) in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\host.php on line 75
also, when i look the status of this new device, the associated data query is empty :

Code: Select all

2) SNMP - Get Processor Information (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [0 Items, 0 Rows] Reload Data Query Delete Data Query Association
however,
1) SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions and
3) SNMP - Interface Statistics

are working well!!

is there a solution to my problem.

thank you by advance, and sorry for my french ;)

What versions of stuff are you runnnig?
What OS?

Turn the Poller Logging Level to debug for one cycle and post the output.

1) Run php -m and paste output

2) You using the latest version of the Zend Optimizer per chance?

3) Cannot modify header information seems to be a security problem. Double checked the NTFS security settings for where ever the temp php files are stored (and other locations IIS uses for temp files)?

4) Which php settings file did you initially use?

Thank you for your help... it's so cool imagine that there is always someone to help you in the free world software.
...but all is ok now.
In fact, i made a complete reinstall of PHP, mysql and cacti and now i don't have this probleme.
I'm think it's was a PHP bug.
can you tell me what is the problem about MySQL Zend Optimizer?
also, the PHP.ini file MUST be in c:\ ?? please tell my why in this case.
However, i have an another question (Cf. post: " Monitoring Disk I/O..."), if you have any ideas ?

Julien

Some people were experiancing simular problems if they used an older version of the zend optimizer.

No, the php.ini does not need to be in c:\. it should be in either c:\php or c:\windows
