localhost status unknown (solved)

Post by benjamin200 »

Hi,
I have installed cacti on my local Gentoo Linux maschine. All works fine. But since I installed two furhter network NICs I get allways the status unkown in the device section.

I uninstalled cacti, removed the cactiuser and the database from the mysqlDB and re-install it completely. But also, same effect.

Can some one help me to find out the problem? Are there any special kernel options required?

Thx,
Ben

Problem solved. I found errors with php:

Code: Select all

php -v
php: error while loading shared libraries: libhistory.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
server benjamin # php
After re-emerging php the rra folder will be filled up. Perfect :)

Thx,
Ben
