Perl Error

Post by kdsm »

I have cacti running but getting the following error when running
"C:\php\php.exe c:\inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\poller.php"

The error is
'perl' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I've loaded perl to my server and added c:\perl to the path statement but the error still shows.
Is there something I'm missing?

Go to your command prompt and type: perl -v Paste the output

What extra script(s) are you running?

I figured out that problem. The directory that I had setup for perl (c:\perl) did not have the perl.exe executable in it. Some times it's the easy things that are the hardest to figure out.
But, I have a new error now:
Here's what it looks like.

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti>c:\php\php.exe c:\inetpub\ww
'cat' is not recognized as an internal or external command
operable program or batch file.
'cat' is not recognized as an internal or external command
operable program or batch file.
'uptime' is not recognized as an internal or external
operable program or batch file.
OK
OK
'who' is not recognized as an internal or external command
operable program or batch file.
'ps' is not recognized as an internal or external command
operable program or batch file.

I sure there's an answer out there somewhere, But if you have it I do appreciate you assistance.

thanks.
