Sweet... I found what you were talking about.

This seems to have fixed the issue, I'm now getting rrd's generated; however the graphs have no data, and the X and Y axis aren't labled.. is this a different issue?

Try applying the patches http://www.cacti.net/download_patches.php

That resolved my issues...
