rrd's not created

Post by jdommasc »

Hello,
for some of my datasources the rrd's will be not created. The problem is, i found no entry for the create in the cacti Log. and Iam not shure maybe the problem is one of the templates. I followed theis path.
1. creating a XML for dataquery and load it - success
2. Create a graph template this is only a raw template nothing special nothing tuned
3. associate this template with the query
4. add the query to the Host - success
5. generating graph's from the host page

now i have the entries in the datasource and in the graphs but no rrd is created and i found no create script to debug

cacti 0.8.6d
php5
mysql4.1
If you need more info please tell me iam new and i dont know what will help. The log will not help you i think.
Thanks a lot
Jens

The way to check this is the check the poller cache, in system utilties, to see if there are any items for that host and data source.

Also, make sure that cacti doesn't think the host is down.
