Hi everyone,
I've got problems getting correct bandwidth totals for NBAR stats, while using cacti "0.8.6d" and NBAR scripts from eatworms.co.uk. The later work as expected and if I do some calculation from the resulting graphs over a timeperiod of 1-2 hours I approximately get the real traffic passing trough.
I would expect a simple comment using the "|sum:auto:current:2:auto|" variable to work the same way as it does for interfaces, but it seems not to. The result is far to small (much smaller than 8 and always by different factors even for different protocols like citrix, http and so on) and does not seem to have anything to do with the real traffic going through (extracted "by hand" using snmpget).
Is there anyone out there who's working with Total Bandwith Graph Variable and NBAR?
Thank you in advance,
Günther
