Graph wont graph! :(

Post by phriday613 »

I just installed 0.6.8a on a new install of Mandrake 9, and it wont graph!

-cron output shows values
-php cmd.php does not show any errors
-the database has tables and is fine
-permissions are set for everything to apache, rrd and log folder are set to root
-crontab has what its supposed to have:
*/5 * * * * root php /path/to/cacti/cmd.php > /dev/null 2>&1

I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but my rrd.log shows
12:37am
1:12
2:38
2:55
3:36
4:07am

and thats the last time! its now 11:55am..

sure did, dont know how though :P

**I THINK** it was because the data source was set to "ABSOLUTE" for weather, when it should be to GAUGE.

it cleared it up and set up graphs :)

good note to others.. if you just see a link on your graphs page, and no graph, but you can swear that nothing else is wrong, try that..

a good trick to figuring out why it isn't graphing:

Go into the graph_items page, and turn output preview on. If there's an error message on the actual graph creation, it should spit out there.
