Some RRD files not updating

Post by hypatia »

I'm having trouble adding a some new graphs to Cacti 8.6c on Linux -- Ethernet and MySQL stats in particular. Here's some info on the MySQL problem:
The data is colleted by a PHP script from thest Forums. The rrd file is created at the first update, but all values are "nan". It does not get updated after that. The logfile shows:

Code: Select all

05/17/2005 10:00:21 AM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] Host[44] CMD: php -q /usr/local/cacti-0.8.6c/scripts/mysql_com.php mysql1.cal
ib.com stats "", output: U
But, when I run the script as the cacti user I get good output:

Code: Select all

change_db:50 delete:0 insert:992736 select:65 update:0
The script works (there's no <CR> at the end of it's output),but Cacti doesn't seem to see it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Double check you Input method and make sure that you field names match up. Also make sure your output has no spaces at the end and does have a CR.

Please run in DEBUG 1 pass from the command line:

php <path_cacti>/cmd.php <host_id> <host_id>

Post the output.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
