I´m testing graphing of CPU usage of linux server via ucd-net MIB tree.
I´m using standart OID. When I count total usage I get more than 100%, have someone some idea? I know that it is great that my server works so well but...
Cacti 0.8.6d, polling by cactid 0.8.6d
Tested server is Linux, Gentoo, kernel 2.6.12

That is problem what I try to solve for several weeks, this graph was meassured on PC with Gentoo, kernel 2.6, I've tried to meassure some another server with RedHat but IOwait is still nan.stigmata wrote:how are you monitoring the IO wait? I compare the kernel configs, but all that should influece this is same on both machines.
In MIB is note that it is SysV feature, but thats all I know now
