I have installed cacti the first time. graph_image.php doesn't show any images but an error. I have downloaded the image with wget and it contains only html code:
<b>Notice</b>: Undefined index: rra_id in <b>/usr/share/cacti/site/graph_image.php</b> on line <b>74</b><br />
cacti: 0.8.6c
apache2: 2.0.54
php: 4.3.10
mysql: 4.1
graph_image.php doesn't show an image

Do you have the RRDTool installed, is the path set correctly?
And I would like to suggest you upgrade to 0.8.6d.

It was a php setup issue. Debian has different configurations for php under /etc/php4. The mysql.so extension was loaded and enabled in /etc/php4/apache2/php.ini but not in /etc/php4/cli/php.ini so the command line variant of php didn't work.rony wrote:Do you have the RRDTool installed, is the path set correctly?

After added extension=mysql.so to the cli php.ini the graphs are available.
