I am migrating all my monitoring from usual MRTG to CACTI now. I am just wondering if CACTI can provide features of threshold values like MRTG provide, so that in case of these threshold values reached, I can have notification enabled.
Does MRTG actually allow notification if a threshold violates ? I believe this feature is there in Cricket and I just hope Rax bundles this feature with the new release. Rax it would be real kewl if you can get a SNMP Trap or a email notification of threshold violation.
