squid port 3401 not working

Hi all

I am trying to monitor squid, but it seems that I can't use port 3401. Does cacti works with another port other than 161?

I have found some nice solutions searching the forum, but this one works best for me: http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t ... =port+3401

You can configure your snmpd.conf file to passthrough snmp queries like ...

proxy -v 1 -c <communityname> <squid_machine>:3401 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1

In my case -

proxy -v 1 -c public localhost:3401 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1
