112 Mb limit

Post by ronron »

I have implemented cacti on FC2, I am monitoring Cisco 7606 routers, the problem is that when we go above approximately 112 Mb we lose the counter like it was a drop off when it should be a spike.

I had this problem before with mrtg and had to change to snmp version 2, we already have it set on snmp v2.

We have php-snmp-4.3.10-2.4

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Attached is the image from the graphs

Thanks

64-bit counters will fix it. Need to migrate away from snmpv1 and go with snmpv2, which is integrated in PHP 4.3.11 and 5.0.4 ;)

No dice, still dies @ 112 mb, we have the following versions..

hp-pear-4.3.11-2.4
php-4.3.11-2.4
php-mysql-4.3.11-2.4
php-snmp-4.3.11-2.4

The rra file possibly needs to be updated too, with the larger size. Cacti does not (yet) automatically do that.

You need to use 64-bit counters. Please select them from the "Create Graphs" dropdown.
