SQL transactions/sec

I want to get Cacti to collect data on SQL transactions/sec for some of my database servers. Has anyone done this before who could give me a hint on how this is done? Thanks!!

What SQL server? MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, ... ?

Likely a WMI script unless someone, even Microsoft has a mib you can integrate into the system one.

I ended up using a script that pulls the information from the Windows performance monitor...
