Looking for Linux OS Graph Templates for Cacti 1.2.x

Post by maka »

I’m using Cacti version 1.2.23 for monitoring and need graph templates optimized for Linux operating systems. Could you let me know where I can find the latest and most reliable templates?

I’ve found some templates on the forum, but many of them seem outdated, and I’m not sure which ones are best to use.

If there are any official or recommended sources for downloading these templates, I’d appreciate the links or additional guidance.

Thanks in advance!

Try to use template local linux machine. It is included in installation.

which data do you want to graph? CPU/mem/hdd, interfaces - everything is there

Thank you for your response. I’ve already tried using the default templates included in the installation for monitoring. However, I’m facing an issue where some of the graphs intermittently fail to display data, resulting in gaps in the graph.

That’s why I’m looking for new templates to test and see if they might resolve the issue.

Gaps won't be a template issue.

So, you think that changing the template won't fix the issue with the graphs not displaying properly? Do we have any solution for this? Do you know if the latest version of Cacti 1.2.28 resolves this issue?

better use 1.2.29 (github.com/cacti/cacti 1.2.x branch).
Check cacti logs during the gaps period. The problem may be elsewhere
