Hi I am creating a solution in Cacti to read the IfInOctets and IfOutOctets from a Zyxel GS190048HP switch - ultimately I want to measure the traffic on all 48 ports. I have run into a problem. I have created the new data input method for both in and out octets and provided password etc that I know works on the Zyxel switch. I have then tried to create a new data template and have an error where it accepts everything except the password (for the Zyxel switch) - when I enter the password and press save on the template and it refuses the password and places a red box round the input field.
Is this to do with the password format or something else?

If your octet counters came from IF-MIB, you just add "SNMP - interface statistics' data query to your device and create graph.
Let the Cacti grow!
