Cacti stops collecting data for a device until re-indexed

Post by jmmcg »

Cacti: 1.2.27
Spine: 1.2.27
OS: Rocky 9.4
PHP: 8.0.30

I have a Cisco ASR9k that Cacti occasionally stops collecting data for. It may be doing the SNMP gets, but it is not recording the data to the RRDs. Re-indexing the device causes graphing to start again but the issue eventually returns. My workaround has been to setup a cron job to periodically re-index the device.

I have tracked down some log entries that start appearing when the issue emerges and persist until the issue is resolved.

Any thoughts on causes and/or solutions?

Example log output:

Code: Select all
