Hi.
While configuring Cacti; by entering a command "sudo mv cacti-l* /opt/cacti" I am getting the following error message;
" mv: cannot overwrite non-directory '/opt/cacti' with directory 'cacti-1.2.27' "
Can someone please guide me on resolving the issue?
Thanks
mv: cannot overwrite non-directory '/opt/cacti' with directory 'cacti-1.2.27'

It looks like /opt/cacti is a symbolic link. Check it out. You could instead do something like:
Just be careful. Look for other symbolic links like the log or rra directories.
Code: Select all
/bin/cp -frp cacti-1.2.27/* /opt/cacti
