report plugin 1.1.2 not working with cacti 1.2.23

Hi Team ,

we have cacti 1.2.23 in Test and we installed reportit plugin version 1.1.2 and also enabled it and it is visibile on top in list of Tabs.

in users setting I have given myself all the permission to create reports and view reports . But to my surprise I see that I cannot create a report . I see even in Management section , where we see devices , graphs , sites etc , there too I cannot find the Report .

so I clicked on Reportit Tab on top and that is opened but I do not see the + sign using which I can create any report .

I have attached relevant images. Please have a look and please suggest what else can we do and why are we getting stuck??

Console -> templates -> report -> create template here first

Hi Dear ,

Many thanks for the response. Yes I did create the template for traffic report and report based on that template for 30 interfaces of different routers , load balancers etc .

But when the report is run we get only the interface name and not the traffic like inbound and outbound for those interfaces.

Hi Dear,

thanks again for the prompt response but in our environment we are going to upgrade cacti and it will take a while to make our environment stable .

actually one of our opco is using the same version of reportit plugin and they are having a valid report . so if you could please guide us like what is missing in our template which is making this report faulty .

as this is required for capacity management and upgrade of plugin is will take some time , so can you please help and guide us .
