Reportit plugin installation issue
Hello Everyone!
I have the 1.2.25 version of Cacti installed on RedHat Linux and also downloaded, and unpacked the necessary tar-file into the plugins folder (/var/www/html/cacti/plugins/). Now I have a folder there called "reportitplugin". The folder's owner is "apache", and has 775 permission granted. (I also tried it with 777). However, when I login to the Cacti GUI the reportit plugin does not show up in the plugin management, so I cannot install it from there. What can cause this kind of issue?
Thanks in advance!

https://github.com/cacti/plugin_reporti ... stallation
The folder needs to be named "reportit" not "reportitplugin".The Installation of ReportIt is similar to other plugins:
Unpack the tar-file into the plugins folder. It contains a folder called "reportit".
Re: Reportit plugin installation issue
I have just renamed it to "reportit", but unfortunately it did not solve the issue.
Re: Reportit plugin installation issue
One more thing that maybe worth to mention is that, originally I did not have "plugins" folder under /var/www/html/cacti/.
I manually created one.
I manually created one.
Re: Reportit plugin installation issue
In the meantime, I found out that I have a plugins folder here:
/usr/share/cacti/plugins
Copied it to here and renamed it to "reportit" and now it is working!!
Thanks!

Re: Reportit plugin installation issue
Unfortunately it was too early to be happy..
Now the plugin is installed, however when I click on "Report" under the "Templates" menu, I get the following message:
"401 Permission Denied"
At the same time, in the logs, I can see the followings:
PLUGIN WARNING: Plugin 'reportit' is attempting to call 'api_plugin_register_realm' improperly in function 'reportit_config_arrays'
Could anyone give me any advices?

I have the latest Reportit version installed, 1.1.2.
Re: Reportit plugin installation issue
1.1.2 is last release but it isn't actual code. Go to https://github.com/cacti/plugin_reportit and use Green button "Code"
Let the Cacti grow!
Re: Reportit plugin installation issue

Re: Reportit plugin installation issue
We released 1.1.4 and are now actively working on 2.0. it'll be a larger update.
