I have been trying to track down the cause, and I'm not able to figure it out.

Re: A few warnings i cant track down
Try snmpget -c your_community -v your_snmp_version 12.12.12.39 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.1.1.1.1.2.0
What is answer? Probably No Such object, so you are queriing OID which doesn't exists.
Configuration -> Settings -> Poller tab -> disable "SNMP Agent support enabled" if you don't use it.
