Hello,
For a device that is down, I'm able to send an email/alert just fine. But the email/alert happens only one time (unless the device recovers, that is). Is there a way to continue to receive the email, say, every 5 minutes until either 1) the device recovers or 2) I suppress notifications?

Thold re-alert is for thold not for up/down notification. I think that this is not possible with actual thold or monitor plugin

Thanks Macan for the reply back.
I even tried to run a script that will output a 10 if the target is pingable and output a 1 if the target is unreachable. I then set up a Threshold that will send out notifications if the output drops below 5. When the device is unreachable, the graph does get updated with a "1." But the Threshold is not getting triggered. I did confirm that Thresholds in general work for other graphs when the device is reachable. I presume it's not getting triggered because the device is unreachable in my use-case. Oh well, I guess no repeat alerting for me

Easy enough to add it as a feature request. You have to log it in GitHub. I suggest Thold.
