Hi all,
I wanted to see what is the best way to preserve modified (default) graph templates during an upgrade?
Let’s say I have changed the colors of the graph template “Host MIB - Available Disk Space”. After an upgrade (eg 1.2.26 to 1.2.27) this will get changed back to the original color scheme. Current graphs are not affected, but creating new graphs will use the default colors. My understanding is the template is saved in the database.
I think the two options I have is to export the modified graphs before the upgrade and import them back after the upgrade. Or to not use default graph templates, but rather duplicate them and change them to my liking.
Just wanted to see if this is the best way or if I’m missing something.
Thanks!

Update process has page which templates update/install. I think when you Don't choose any here, templates will not change.
Let the Cacti grow!

I'm clearly blind, thanks for pointing this out! Worked as it should.
