Aggregate RRD file creation

Hi,

I have a requirement to create rrd file for aggregate graph. Could you please help me how to create rrd file for aggregate traffic using rrdtool command
I m graphing traffic utilization (bits/sec)

Create an aggregate template and then from graph management creat an aggregate graph by selecting the graphs in question, the select either create aggregate graph, or create aggregate graph from template.

This is not the requrequirement
I already know how to create aggregate graphs. This doesnt create agg.rrd file

I need to know how to create aggregate rrd file. Basically using rrdtool command

You would have to write some sort of plugin to do that and likely add it to the poller_bottom hook. The other thing would be to make it like thold and work during the poller's operation. The question is how do you wish to maintain which data sources belong to the aggregate RRD?

HI,

Making it work with Cacti poller operation is little bit difficult.
Can you help me with the rrdtool command to do this ?
Then i can use it in python script or something
