Looking for tips for graphing CPU and memory output collected from top output of Linux box
Any pointers or steps on how to graph CPU and memory output collected over time (example: 3 days) from top output of Linux box .

you don't need parse top output. Data are in snmp (UCD-SNMP-MIB). Create generic snmp oid graph for any of these OIDs:
snmpwalk -v2c -c your_community -On 127.0.0.1 .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.10.1.3
