features needed

Post by ahmed99 »

Hello,

I'm interested in the cacti solution. I understand that the solution provides supervision for web applications. I wanted to know if the cacti solution offers monitoring for the following elements:
1- Hardware (examples: processor, memory, local storage, power consumption, network)
2- Software installed on the workstation (examples: loading time, errors, CPU and memory usage)
For the Office suite, a more detailed view (opening time for emails, waiting time for sending, opening time for encrypted emails, opening time for the calendar, opening time for Teams, display time for Teams, etc.)
3- Web Applications (internal IS and SaaS IS) (Access time to the service, definition of business actions, transactional errors, response time, incidents on plugins, etc.)
4- Operating System (examples: crashes, blue screens, driver issues)
5- Antivirus, EDR (examples: impact of the process on equipment load)
6- Filers (examples: network drives, OneDrive)
7- Equipment startup (Example: including details up to the end of session loading as well as user-initiated shutdowns "button")

Thank you!

Yes, for most OS (windows, linux, unix, ...)

Depends on your OS. For example for linux, you can create script which gathers data and cacti can graph it.

You can use few plugins:
syslog, flowview, wmi, servcheck
