Monitor Plugin Table Monitor_update doesn't exist

Post by avantat »

Hi all,

I'm running cacti 1.26 with monitor 1.7 on a Ubuntu box. The only upgrade was from 1.24 to 1.26
Monitor plugin is complaining about a table missing in mariadb. I checked and the table is indeed not there, not sure why. I can create it, but need some information on the columns needed. I did try a full reinstall of the plugin, but the error remains.

CMDPHP ERROR: A DB Exec Failed!, Error: Table 'cacti.plugin_monitor_update' doesn't exist

Any clues? The other weird thing I noticed, monitor is not playing any alert sounds when a system is down.
Thanks!

It is fixed, bud fix is not approved yet. You need change one line in code from plugin_monitor_update to plugin_monitor_uptime.

Thanks, no issues, working well. Any pointers why the sounds might not be working? Sound files are there, happening on FF, Chrome and Edge, no sound.
