Certain graphs not graphing

Post by mrossFTEK »

i know its been asked a million times, and i've tried all i can do so far but here's my issue
running cacti 1.2.24.. it only graphs ANY graph when using cmd.php.
id rather use spine, but when i select it,cacti appears to do nothing.. not even a poll.
using cmd.php, some of my windows server, actually all of them, are not graphing disk space..cpu,mem, processes, sure.. just not disk space.
my linux servers..no problem there..

so, how can i fix the pollar so spine works, and anyone got a clue on my disk space issue?

Here is a clue.

You are attempting to use SSL and there are some issues with it.

i ran the command
ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED WITH mysql_native_password BY '<password>';

and i had to do that with cactiuser as well, or the same error would pop up.
after that, the cacti website gave me errors about the configuration.

Awesome. Would you be willing to commit a Frequently Asked questions to https://github.com/cacti/documentaation that would be awesome.

yeah i can.
when i installed cacti, i used the all in one installer.. so any setup for ssl, encrytion was done with that installer.
after i "fixed" the initial error.. i could not login to cacti.. it gave me errors about settings in the config.php.. but i never changed that.
i wound up putting my server back via a snapshot reversal.. then cacti worked again, but was back at my initial error with spine.
