Greetings all,
I just encountered a problem with my Cacti installation. When I tried to export graph to CSV, somehow it only contains the last 24 hours of data no matter what time range I used. This feature was never really used before; hence I didn't know about it until now. Cacti version 1.1.24 with MariaDB 5.5 and PHP 7 on RHEL 7.
I searched this forum for similar case, but I couldn't find it (perhaps because English is not my first language). Any pointers is much appreciated. Thank you.

Tested on 1.2.25 (1.2.x branch on github now) and it works fine. I cannot find any issue with export to csv in CHANGELOG, strange.
Please show how you try to export the data.

I did it the only way I know. I go to GRAPHS tab, select the device where the graph is located, select the time range preset that I need and then click the CSV export button. Simple step on screenshot attached.
But no matter presets selected, the result CSV is always the last 24 hours only.Teguh

Re: CSV export only contains last 24 hours
Is there any other things I should try first? By management order, all software and hardware upgrade (except patches or hardware error) is postponed until December this year (weird, I know). I went as far as replacing graph_xport.php with a fresh one (same version) from download page but to no avail.

That's a real old version. We are too small to support such older versions. Our recommendation is to upgrade. Upgrading from 1.1.x to 1.2.x, you must also upgrade spine. Don't forget that. Upgrading is super easy otherwise:
The, go simply log into Cacti and follow the upgrade instructions.
Code: Select all
cd /var/www/html
git clone -b 1.2.x http://github.com/cacti/cacti.git cacti.new
/bin/cp -frp /cacti.new/* cacti
chown -R apache:apache cacti

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
