Hello,
I have the mactrack working ok, but I am abit confused of the results I receive in the page.
in the Interfaces tab I can see all ports in a correct status but in the MAC addresses tab I am confused when selecting the Show dropdown list as in the attached image: its by default on the "Most recent" which doesn't display the port status up to date.
I need to see all the ports up to date, which option should I select to see the current latest interfaces macs status?
Do I have to authorize the mac addresses?
Thank you

Use "Most Recent" to see the most recent results. If you want to go back in history, you can choose some of the other options.

Hello TheWitness,
Thank you Bro for your support, and I wanted to clarify things to you in my case:
I have attached a screenshot with both Interfaces and Mac address tabs, for the same switch interface I am lookingup.
the output of the mac address tab was taken by selecting the "aggregated" or "most recent" and knowing that the images were telling the same syncing time, they both telling a different description" and the Interfaces tab telling the correct port description and the mac address telling same syncig time but the description still not corrected.
If I select the specific syncing time from the dopdown list in the mac address tab, it will display the correct port description.
why the most recent is not displaying the correct actual most recent changes in the mac address tab?

What are the scanning functions for the device in question? What happens if you force a manual scan of the site or device, does the interface name update?

Hi,
If I amcirrect, I have enabled snmp and rrd for scanning, If I scan the interface manually, the display in the Interfaces tab is updates but in the mac address tab "here is the problem, not updated when selecting the most recent or aggregated option, only when selecting the scan date/time".

Re: About mactrack report
Whell, most recent means what was the port information that a Mac was last seen on. So, I was thinking that this option is mislabeled. It returns all known Mac addresses we "last seen", I think anyway. Pick by one of the dates, much faster.
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.
