Cacti V1.2.20 unable to install on Windows 10

Hi,

I spent almost more than 20 hrs of my time, I couldnt able to identify & resolve the issue.

I had installed Cacti latest v 1.2.20 on my windows 10 PC. however localhost/Cacti gives
FATAL: Connection to Cacti database failed. Please ensure:

the PHP MySQL module is installed and enabled.
the database is running.
the credentials in config.php are valid.

please help

Check your PHP / MySQL versions, the latest versions of MySQL/MariaDB are using a different password module which can cause problems with PHP less than 7.4.
