Device Availability option

Post by saulofonseca »

Hello all,

Is there any way in cacti to have my own Device Availability method ???? Ex: a script method ??

I have ONUs that do not have icmp, neither snmp option, so I query the OLT with some oid, and I know if the onu is online or offline.

The main purpose is to place each ONU on gpsmap plugin.

Regards

Att.

Great idea. Also, there is ping UDP/TCP which works when others don't.

There is also ping SNMP get next, which just tries to grab a single oid past .1.3
