I am using Cacti 1.2.19. (I know it's out of support)
The PHP version I have installed is 7.4.x series, but I need to update to 8.x series.
Does Cacti 1.2.19 support PHP 8.x series?

Thank you for your prompt response.
Is there any indication that this has not been tested (not supported)?
I would be happy if it is not supported, because if it is supported it will need to be updated ...

Re: PHP support in Cacti v1.2.19
Check change logs here https://github.com/Cacti/cacti/releases
1.2.19 has few things with PHP 8.x (Correct issues running under PHP 8.x), so it could be working.
But I recommend update cacti to actual 1.2.24. It is stable version without bigger issues. And after update PHP to 8.x

Re: PHP support in Cacti v1.2.19
Thank you very much.
I have checked the "Cacti change logs".
In 1.2.20, it was listed as "issue #4475: Add support for PHP 8", so I thought it was not supported in 1.2.19, but it is not. I'm stumped.
A security audit has indicated to me that it is undesirable to use PHP with out-of-support PHP.
So we really do not want to change anything other than PHP as much as possible.
If we knew that php8.0 is not explicitly supported in 1.2.19, we would not need to support it...

Re: PHP support in Cacti v1.2.19
As macan already said, Cacti 1.2.24 works very well on our system with PHP8.1 (Ubuntu LTS22.04).
So if you need to upgrade php, maybe you should take the time and upgrade Cacti first.
