New graph templates overwriting existing

Post by redcol »

Cacti 1.2.23, mariaDB 10.3.35

Hi,
I have a problem where my (fairly recently) installed Cacti is not playing nice with new graph templates. Whenever I either import a template, or just manually create a new graph template, the new template is overwriting* an existing graph template. It appears to want to put the first new graph template in with ID 51, then the next with 52, and so on. But I already have existing graph templates in use with IDs up to 146 just through what was installed initially.

Is there any way to get it to start creating any new graph template with an unused ID (i.e. 147+) so it doesn't overwrite the existing? I'd really like to add some new graph templates without messing up the existing.

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer.

*I say overwrite, but when importing a template it appears to create a strange combination of the previous template and the new template.
