Maximum runtime of 298 seconds (poller.php)

Post by manel »

Hello,

I've just upgraded from 0.88h to 1.2.23 in a new VM.
My problem is the poller (cmd) never finishes on time, but almost all graphs are updated. I have less than 45 devices

My poller configuration is
data collector set to 8. There are 4 cores
Thread process 12
Collection setting processes 4
No bust working

Well, When I was trying debugging running php poller.php --force -d and enable settings and I only see this kind o messages
Waiting on 1 of 4 pollers.
Waiting on 1 of 4 pollers.
Waiting on 1 of 4 pollers.
Waiting on 1 of 4 pollers.
Waiting on 1 of 4 pollers

Processing Poller Output with 40000 maximum items to be processed
Processing Poller Output with 40000 maximum items to be processed
Processing Poller Output with 40000 maximum items to be processed
Processing Poller Output with 40000 maximum items to be processed

Any help for debugging the problem is appreciated?

Should I install spine?

Cheers

Spine isn't necessary for 45 devices.

Check log file for errors.

If you can try spine, you should use 1.2.24 version. 1.2.23 has few problems

Run spine manually with the following options to ensure spine is working

Code: Select all

./spine -V 3 -S -R
