DeviceX --> Physical Server --> VM (Cacti)

Hello Guys,

I am newbie to Cacti.

Actually, this is SNMP issue, but maybe a bit different issue.

Now i am built Cacti on VM in a physical Server.
The physical Server able to added became new device in Cacti.
But, the DeviceX still unable to be connected (SNMP no response from the host).

In details of topology:

DeviceX = Cisco Switch
Physical Server = Common Server
VM (Cacti) = Cacti that build in Virtual Machine, that installed on the Physical Server, using network "Bridged mode" with same IP network with the physical Server.

Purpose:
DeviceX wanted to be monitored by the Cacti.

Problem:
While added DeviceX, the SNMP still no response from the host

Are there any solutions for this kind of topology ?
Or the Cacti can not be built on VM of a physical Server ?

It's all about the ACL's on the router and in some cases the MTU at the network layer. SNMP should work fine through both bridges and NAT's depending on who's behand the NAT.
