Sorry about your plight. I avoid windows for Cacti servers.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

ok im 95% there.
yes, ill have to buy a syslog server, or put up a linux box for it..
HOWEVER.. in my initial testing, i have nxlog sending to my syslog server.
the syslog server is picking up the data coming in from host 127.0.0.1. in my cacti, my cacti localhost is setup with 127.0.0.1 as the "hostname".
the syslog server, as im watching it sees the source is 127.0.0.1
the syslog plugin is showing "invalid host".. thinking i missed a step somewhere.. got any pointers?

once i get this working 100%, ill make a write up for others who may be caught in the same thing I am.

i need to understand how the "Open Ticket" function works. Is this meant to interact with a helpdesk system for creating incident tickets?
