Hi all!
Have a headache installing Cacti Server v1.2.20 to Debian 5.10.106-1 .
Constantly got:
________________________________________________________
memory_limit 128M >= 400M Warning A minimum of 400M memory limit
max_execution_time 0 >= 60 Passed A minimum of 60 m execution time
date.timezone >= Error A valid timezone that matches MySQL and the system

during Pre-installation check at PHP - Recommendations (cli) section.
While all's good at PHP - Recommendations (web) section.
I have all php.ini files I found:
****************************************
$php -i |grep php\.ini
PHP: syntax error, unexpected END_OF_LINE, expecting '=' in /etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini on line 2
Configuration File (php.ini) Path => /etc/php/7.4/cli
Loaded Configuration File => /etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini
$cat /etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini | grep date.timezone
; http://php.net/date.timezone
date.timezone = Europe/London
$ cat /etc/php/7.4/fpm/php.ini | grep date.timezone
; http://php.net/date.timezone
date.timezone = Europe/London
$ cat /etc/php/7.4/apache2/php.ini | grep date.timezone
; http://php.net/date.timezone
date.timezone = Europe/London
********************************************
I have even created (based on some recommendations) file /etc/php.ini :
$ cat /etc/php.ini | grep date.timezone
; http://php.net/date.timezone
date.timezone = Europe/London
*****************************************
Have restarted all processes and rebooted the server.
But cacti persistently picks up php cli params from somewhere I du nu.
Maybe someone can suggest something =) . Or I should go into deep debugging of cacti installation php scripts?
Thank you in advance!

Re: Issues during Pre-installation check
Still no miracles in this world.
# tail -f cacti_stderr.log
PHP: syntax error, unexpected END_OF_LINE, expecting '=' in /etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini on line 2
fixed.
sorry to bother.
Have a great one!
