Post by mpahlevanzadeh »

I have a CISCO switch 5xxx And get the disconnecting in attached picture.
When cacti disconnect from switch, Instead of UP status for devices, I see Recovering.
How can I solve it?

This could be a timeout issue, or a permission issue. You can place the device in debug mode, or turn on error logging for spine and look for the errors. It's going to be one of those two. Sometimes with Cisco and other devices, you have to increase the SNMP timeout, or increase retries.

We changed Thread to 6 and SNMP timeout to 1000 and problem was solved.
