Post by 0815 »

Hello,

which join_buffer_size and sort_buffer_ sizes are you using in Maria-DB (in my case 10.3.36) for Cacti 1.2.23?

Thank You

Depends on your system size. If you are just doing Cacti, 256M is fine for both. If you have some huge tables and your server has a lot of memory, then you can increase things. On one of my production boxes I have both in the 500M range. They used to be higher, but my server would swap when some odd Analytics queries were written by rookies breaking my Cacti.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
