question about alerting

Post by mrossTTX »

question.. with a thold, i can have it insert the graph for that thold, up or down..
can we do this with alerting.. i also have the ping history plugin installed and was wondering if there was a way to tie some of that together?

has anyone contemplated doing something, or am i way out in left field?

Can you open a feature request in Thold? Is this where you were thinking of adding it?

under "Device Defaults", you set how many polling cycles to determine if a device is up, down, recovering, etc.
doesnt that send out the alert, and not thold.. meaning you can get up\down\recovering alerts without using thold's plug in..??

Thold is required, but you do get alerts if you enable it.
