Monitor Plugin - Using Groups

Hi all, is there a way within the Monitor Plugin to have the high level just display a group and then a user can drill down into that, an example would be a Major Group called "Network Devices" then under that you have a sub-group called "Switches" and then each device under that, if a device such a switch fails or breaches a threshold the Major group in this case "Network Devices" would go red or orange?
