Hello,
We have just upgraded from 1.1.38 to 1.2.9 and noticed a change in the tree behaviour of cacti. In the old version when a "host" entry was added to the tree, aggregate graphs referencing this host were not included in the graphs displayed with that host, only graphs created directly from the hosts data. Now with 1.2.9 even if an graph is indirectly referenced, like in an aggregate it is included in the "host" on the tree. I don't want to argue which is the right way and which is the wrong why but some of our aggregates include a lot of hosts and can take several seconds to generate slowing down the complete display in the tree. Is there a way to regain the old behaviour and exclude the aggregate graphs from being included in the "host" entries on the tree, or do we now have to edit the tree and add every graph manually to ensure the aggregate is not displayed with the other graphs?
Thanks

Good reason for a setting. There may be one. Can you log an issue on GitHub?
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.

Re: Exclude aggregate graphs from tree/host items
I just implemented this in 1.2.11.

Re: Exclude aggregate graphs from tree/host items
Thanks very much - the feature is appreciated. I will be sure to upgrade again when 1.2.11 is available.
Re: Exclude aggregate graphs from tree/host items
And where is that option added exactly?
I also do not want to add the aggregate graph under each host.

this setting can be found under: console > configuration > users > USER-NAME > user-settings tab > under general settings > show device aggregates
